I will be continuing on my journey of being a better steward with what I already have in an effort to be more content. Last week, I worked on my living room. I was pretty happy with the results, too. This week, I'll be working on the kids' bedroom. Whooo-boy, anyone feel sorry for me? :)
Here's the before pictures and what I have to work on.
One of the main issues is clothes. With two little girls, we seem to have clothes everywhere. Right now, I'm in the process of switching over our seasonal clothes. Here in Ohio it's beginning to get much cooler. (Yay!!!) Since my youngest is 15 months, I'm also still having to weed out any clothes she outgrown as well.
One of the other issues is toys and books. What family doesn't have this issue?
We keep most of the toys in a fabulous toy box I picked up at a garage sale for.... $12 I think. I was very proud of that find. But it looks like it needs pared down and sorted out better!
I also need to do something with the top shelf of their closet. My current system (doing nothing) is not working. :)
Looks like I've got my work cut out for me this week! Come back later in the week to see how I'm doing (there might even be a giveaway..... hint hint) and on Friday I will post a link up for you to join in and tell us how you've been learning to be more content, a better homekeeper, re-purposing things you already have, etc. Come join us and let's encourage one another in this home keeping journey!
