I would never believed that someday I would talk so often (and openly) about pee and poo. When you have a baby, you obsess over their waste products. Are they going often enough? Too much? What does that color mean?
With a toddler in potty training, it's even worse. "Mommy's going pee in the potty, do you go pee in the potty? Everybody goes pee and poo!" Ever heard of the book Everyone Poops? Case closed. As a mother, you have no more bathroom dignity. If you close the door they will open it. If you lock the door they will stand at it, knocking and saying "Mommy?" :)

I never would have thought that one day I'd being doing laundry with my 2 year old and would be using my washable nursing pads to teach her how to count objects. Oh, what wonderful teachable moments!
I would never have imagined I would buy 4 C or D batteries a week to support my baby's swing addiction so I could/can get 5 to 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep at night ( and get her to take naps too)! I'm not proud of this... but I also never knew I'd be so desperate, I'd do whatever it takes to get some sleep (even if it gets a little costly and sometimes results in late night trips to the store for batteries)! If you're going to someday have children and want to buy a swing, here's my advice to you: GET A SWING THAT PLUGS INTO THE WALL!
