"That they (the older women) admonish the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed." Titus 2:4-5

Appreciation

My goodness. I'm watching one of my tv shows while catching up online and I just saw the most grounding commercial I've seen in a very long time. A grown daughter keeps trying to talk to her mom and they are continually interrupted. Finally, the daughter leaves a card on the counter and the mom opens it to find a thank you note. The daughter shows up and says "We couldn't have made it through this last year without you mom. Thank you." The commercial then saying something along the lines of "Appreciation my just be the most important gift this year." A tear almost came as I was truly touched.

How sobering that a card commercial got it right. So often, I run through my day and forget to be thankful. I think I'm going to go and write some thank you notes now.
