"That they (the older women) admonish the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed." Titus 2:4-5

Heritage Fest. in Kent

Today is the big Heritage Festival Celebration in Kent, Ohio. Every year, our church/cafe gives out free hot dogs, coffee, drinks and snacks to the 30,000+ people that show up in downtown Kent for the event. It's one of our church's biggest outreaches and this year we are especially excited because at the last minute, we were able to invite and host the Matsiko Children's Choir from Uganda, Africa. What a huge blessing they've been (which I'll post more about later) and they will miraculously be performing at the main stage at S. Water and Main St. in Kent at 1pm for thousands to hear their message of hope. I warmly welcome any of you in the area to stop by (and come see us at the Rock Cafe for a free hot dog!) at 257 S. Water St., Kent, OH 44240!

hope you had a good day! sounds like fun!

hey, gary weimer just dropped off my milk this morning. they weaned their calf and now they are getting 5 gallons a day. waaaaaay more than either of us can handle. he said to let you know and he would gladly sell it to you. it is a little more than the stores, at $3 a gallon, but that's ridiculously cheap for raw milk. it's just enough to help cover their grain cost. anyways, if you are interested, let me know and i'll give you the #. they live in alliance area, like if you took 76 east to route 14 (1 exit down from ravenna) they are right down the road from there.
