"That they (the older women) admonish the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed." Titus 2:4-5

I am SOOO excited about this review. I really was excited when they sent me this devotions book for preschoolers because my daughter technically isn't a preschooler, but I've really been wanting something to read through with her, to add a little structure and focus to our day.

This book is wonderful. I really wish I had one to give away, but I don't. I love y'all, but I'm keeping mine! My daughter calls it her "God book." She even points to it (on top of our fridge) and says "read God book." How sweet is that? So far, we've talked about how God made her and everything around her. It has a page for each day of the year and we've read three pages so far. It starts in Genesis and goes through to Revelation. Each page gives an easy to read bible verse (NIV, NLT, etc.), a little "lesson" to read and a cute little 2 line rhyme that emphasizes what the lesson was. It's an excellent format for youngsters.

As I start to ease into more of a homeschooling type preschool schedule with my daughter, I think I'd even find ways to incorporate each day's lesson in things we do throughout the day. This book is a wonderful way to start the day with your little one. I highly recommend it!

nice job on the review and great idea about the "pre-homeschooling"! I didn't think of that.

I'm still learning how to do these, so it's good to read other folk's versions.

I've been enjoying the book too!
