"That they (the older women) admonish the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed." Titus 2:4-5

Rubbermaid: Review and Giveaway (Closed)

I never realized that Rubbermaid had an official blog, but they do and it's pretty cool. The writter blogs about organization and storage and I found it to be very interested. They even have a twitter page (egentry)! Rubbermaid recently sent me a "Take Along a Fun Lunch" package: 4 of their new TakeAlongs Squares storage containers, a Blue Ice Fun Shape (ice pack) and a sharpie for writting messages to my hubby in his lunches.

I chose the gender neutral Ice pack and I received an adorable monkey! Of course, before we even froze it, my 2 year old claimed it as hers and carried it around, hugging it. It really is that cute.

I love the TakeAlongs because I have a serious problem with storage containers. I get angry with them when they fall out of the cupboard at me or I can't find a lid or the lid doesn't fit properly. I've been known to throw them out if they make me angry enough! :) The TakeAlongs were fabulous because all four fit perfectly together and the lids nestle into one another as well, so they're easy to stack and keep track of. The lids fit perfectly on the containers and you even hear a nice little "snap" which tells you that lid isn't coming off easily (they call it their New Quik Clik Seal). They're microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe!

Sound like a food storage dream come true? Great, because Rubbermaid has offered to send one of my readers a package too! To enter the giveaway you can do any of the following:

  1. Leave me a comment telling me if you'd want a boy, girl or neutral Blue Ice Fun Shape
  2. Blog about this giveaway and leave me the link.
  3. Become a follower or tell me if you already do!
  4. Become a subscriber or tell me if you already do!
That's 4 chances to win. The giveaway is open from now until Saturday September 26th at 9PM EST when I will randomly pick a winner. Sorry, but they can only ship to the US and Canada. They will only use your address to send your prize-nothing else. I will email the winner (so make sure you leave a way for me to email you!) and the winner will have 48 hours to respond. If they don't, I will pick a new winner. Good luck!!

You can see other cool giveaways here.

I think I'd like the pink please. I love rubber maid I bought one of their big sets and threw away everything else I had or gave it away. I sure need some more though you know how they seem to disappear. Everyone said what are you going to do with those little bitty things but they're all gone. I can't go to twitter I don't tweet. I am a member of facebook but hardly ever go there but I will for this. And I Linked here from The Frugal Mom to A Restaurant Called the Colonels Lady Tea Room. Ok well any way I would love to win this actually for myself. I get these bumps on my chin that my dematologist says are part of my panic disorder and cold makes them feel better.
By the way it sure is good to see young people who are proud to put CHRISTian in front of their name. I'm a pastors wife and my heart always swells a little when I hear or see that.
Blessings to you and your lovely little family.
Terri
